ABOUT LEGACY TKD ACADEMY
Legacy TKD Martial Arts Academy is a family business.
We are Hispanic Women -owned and operated, Legacy Taekwondo Academy has been in Pilsen for over 5 years. Head Instr. Diana Romero grew up in Pilsen and brought her business to the community to be able to offer a safe space for children, teens, adults, and seniors to practice self-defense & Taekwondo. In addition to Taekwondo; we offer a HITT Cardio Kicko-boxing class with a combination of weight training for teens and adults. Legacy Taekwondo has been a partner of Chicago Scores for over 5 years, where we teach an afterschool program Taekwondo class at local CPS schools in Chicago's Pilsen, Back of the Yards, and Chicago Lawn neighborhoods where they teach the fundamentals of TKD to kids who would not have the opportunity to take a TKD class outside of school.
Our mission is to provide a safe space for the community where we educate our students & their families on living a healthy lifestyle by not only taking care of their bodies through the physical but also the mental and spiritual through the philosophy of the traditional Korean Martial Art of TaeKwonDo.
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to affordable martial arts training. Being raised in Pilsen I understand the amount of limited affordable activities in the neighborhood. Our standard rates are very affordable compared to most and you can also find our special advertised on Social Media. We do our best to work with families and offer multiple enrollment discounts so that everyone in the family has an opportunity to stay healthy and learn self-defense at the same time.
